Hello there!!

I am Logan -- which is great fun, considering that my Husband's name is Dana.  (We capitalize on THAT confusion, let me tell you!)

Speaking of my husband, he is my confidant, my treasure, and my truest, bestest friend, and without him, I would be lost. (No really -- I would be somewhere in a rural town, driving in circles.)

I am in love with my Jesus. He is my hope.

I am a horse lover inside and out. Inside because without horses, my personality would not be the same. Outside, because the manure shoveling, fall-off bruising, hay stacking, training, try-try-again part of horses is what it's all about.  I imagine myself an Olympic Equestrian, please don't pop that bubble.

I love all things chocolate.

I also love all things nature, and all things animal. (With the exception of chickens, ticks, and fish... come on, cut me some slack. Phobias are REAL.)

Photography

Photography is a privilege. I love natural light and Honest, Joyful photos, which is what I strive for as a Documentary and Lifestyle Photographer.  Being invited into someone's family, wedding, special event, or business to document their lives is something I will never take lightly. The fact is, it's YOU that motivates me as a photographer. Your moment, your day, your family -- That's what I want to catch as your photographer, so that we, together, can create something that you can hold onto and pass on for generations to come. 

Randomness

• We have a small herd of horses. They, however, eat like a small herd of elephants. (ooo.... elephants.)
• We have a 10 year old Golden Retriever named Brandi, who keeps us entertained with her light chasing and shoe collecting.
• Dana is a first rate second shooter and I'm honored to have him at my side at weddings.
• I hate being cold. Which is awesome for someone who lives in the state of '9 months of winter per year'.
• I believe reruns of the Dick Van Dyke show can cure any bad mood -- trust me on this one.
• I empathetic to a fault.  It's like this:  Bride walks through doorway + Groom tears up = Logan cries.
• I can't stand it when driving with someone in the rain and they don't have the wipers going fast enough.
• Christmas and me. We're tight. (I believe it should be fudge season all year round.)
• I don't currently have a headshot of just myself. In fact, the only photos I have of myself are selfies with my handsome husband... and it's only fair that I've used one above, as it was his last name I stole for my business name.
